Alber Elbaz showed a super colorful collection punctuated by a few strong black and white looks for Resort 2013. Exaggerated shoulders were a big theme, as was a particular mashup of track suit and PJ set done in luxe fabrics and accessorized to within an inch of its life. Sharp, rich emerald greens and lapis blues shone beside the usual tangerine+pink combo Elbaz likes so much. Skirts were knee length and with specific volumes- either circle skirts or nipped pencil versions with big ruffles at the hem. While the palm print track suit I think is questionable at best, there were some lovely dresses and the usual excellent Lanvin jewelry. -RS (Images via Vogue.com)
