Richard Chai’s Spring 2013 show strode down the runway with men’s and women’s looks alongside each other. I’m skipping the guys because.. well…. blah.
The opening look was one of my favorites- a great dress with a midriff cutout in white with a periwinkle based print that also riffed on the classic button down. Throw a pale lilac anorak on atop it, and ready to go for spring weather! This silhouette repeated (a bit ad nauseum I might add) with tiny midriff baring vaguely wet-suit inspired tops, paired with flippy mid-thigh skirts. The rest of the show was populated by slouchy trousers and shorts and some very shiny dresses. -RS (Images via WWD)
