Altuzzara really earned his stripes (literally and figuratively) with his Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The former CDFA award winner proved himself a staying power with his work-wear inspired collection that featured pin-striped jackets reminiscent of OshKosh overalls, bejeweled menswear-inspired shirts, and stunning gladiator sandals. The beauty was truly in the details. Take, for example, the coats with vents at the arms so they could be worn as capes and the labels sewed to the front pocket. The gold fringe on the evening wear certainly didn’t hurt, either.
