Need some inspiration for your Halloween costume this year? Look no further: Fashionologie put together a slideshow of some celebrity get-ups from years past. Even though it’s to be expected that fashion designers will have a leg up in the costume department, I must say that some of these are truly fantastic. Like Marc Jacobs as Wilbur the pig from Charlotte’s Web (full disclosure: my name is Charlotte, so yes, I’m biased). As for Heidi Klum’s creepy musculature suit, at least she really went for it, right? And then there’s Anna Della Russo being Anna Della Russo and playing the part to perfection (duh). I know we can’t all be fashion designers, but Halloween gives us the chance to really build our own sartorial legacy. If only for one night.
