Flowers, feathers and lace @CHANEL

What Karl’s spring couture collection may have been lacking in front row star-wattage (weirdly), it made up for with pure glam. As he has alluded in the past, the trick is to take the recognizable elements of the house and make them fresh again, season after season.

Fresh it was, with traces of elegance (structured tweed, black and white) layered in whimsy (lace thigh-highs and a version of feather fascinator) with a splash of gold-lame vintage drama- presto, bravo, Genius.
