Francine Ballard's Rantings of the Accessory-Obsessed.

How awesome is this photo of Anna Wintour at a 2008 rag & bone show? Love me a good Polaroid…especially when it involves the queen of fashion herself (via Fashionologie).

Another Anna..
I think Tom [Florio] got it right when he said, “She’s not unapproachable. She’s just not available to the people she doesn’t need to be available to. She’s a busy person. She’s got work to do.”

EVERYONE’S UP FOR SEPTEMBER
Vogue has the highest ad paging increase (but they usually crush it for this issue). And InStyle is still in the lead overall. Kinda funny.. Anna wishes her abs looked like that.

ANNA IS SELLING HERSELF… AGAIN.
Refinery 29:
It seems that Anna Wintour’s generosity seems to know no bounds. You might remember that just two weeks ago, her philanthropic stardust netted $42,500 for the Robert F Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, which is why were happily surprised when we heard the editrix was teaming up with Charitybuzz again.
This time, Wintour has put together the ultimate fashion week experience: The winner will get to meet the Vogue editor-in-chief, score tickets to a fashion show during New York Fashion Week, get an Alexander Wang Leather Duffle Bag and Proenza Schouler Large Suede Tobacco PS1 Bag, plus a Christian Louboutin $1,000 gift certificate. And because she was feeling extra nice, the prize also includes a one-night stay at the Bowery Hotel and a $150 gift certificate to Pulino’s Bar and Pizzeria. The bidding for the package starts at $6,500, a serious steal compared to the internship up for grabs last time, and all proceeds benefit the Art of Elysium. Bidding is open through this Thursday, May 13, at noon at charitybuzz.
